Blue Link is a connected car service offered by Hyundai. Blue Link+ is a premium version of this service that allows users to remotely start their vehicle, lock or unlock doors, and activate climate control from a smartphone with no monthly fees. Blue Link+ is available to purchasers and lessees of new 2025 Blue Link-equipped Hyundai models, though it may not be available on all models and trims. For 2023 IONIQ 6 and new 2024 or newer Blue Link-equipped Hyundai models, Blue Link+ is also available to original purchasers and lessees. An active Blue Link account is required for Blue Link+. Blue Link services rely on digital wireless telecommunications technology and 4G LTE cellular networks, which are controlled by third-party wireless carriers. If these networks change, discontinue service, or the underlying technology becomes obsolete, the connected services may no longer work, and Hyundai may cancel impacted subscription services. Blue Link can also provide alerts for features like Advanced Rear Occupant Alert (AROA) if movement is detected in the backseat after the vehicle is parked and locked.
