Quality is not a luxury

Quality is not a luxury.

At Hyundai, we think everyone deserves a car that is dependable, long-lasting and safe. It’s why we’re so focused on the quality that goes into every car we make.

A space to feel safe. We’ve got it right here. Hyundai is the brand with more than 120 IIHS Top Safety awards since 2006.

Quality

Hyundai Motor Group

makes its own ultra-

high-strength steel.

What happens when we can’t find a steel to meet our standards? We make our own. Hyundai steel is substantially stronger, so that in vehicles like the 2024 SANTA FE, its roof can withstand forces up to four times its weight. Our ultra-high-strength steel is light, efficient and excels at transferring energy in case of the unexpected.
Design process
Made to fit the way you live.

Made to fit the way you live.

Because we believe in purposeful design you’ll find details like an available C-pillar assist handle on SANTA FE that gives you a lift for easier roof access, or advanced technology that enables your Hyundai to park itself so you don’t have to.

Hyundai prototyping process

Obsessed? Why, yes, we are.

Our design process is meticulous. Hyundai goes above and beyond, producing numerous prototypes when developing a vehicle until we get it just right.

Hyundai testing

Tested and proven, again and again.

Before our vehicles undergo an external design test, they must pass hundreds of quality tests of our own. And that’s not all. Once they’ve completed our manufacturing process, they still must surpass additional, intense tests on the road.

Dependability

Baked to 120º.

Frozen to -20º.

Whether frozen to -20º on Sweden’s frozen Lake Arjeplog, driven to 120º in Death Valley, or drenched in salt water, it’s all good. Our vehicles must pass over 500 tests in the most extreme weather to ensure a level of quality to make ownership in challenging climates as worry-free as possible.

Reliability

We know how to keep

a good thing going.

For quick Saturday errands around town or road trips that take you across the country and back, we put every Hyundai through the wringer so you can be sure it’s there for you and ready to go for the long haul.

On the road again. And again. And again.

A woman drove a million miles in her Hyundai ELANTRA. How’s that for going the distance?

Built to last.

We put more into our SUVs, so you can get more out of them. In fact, of the Hyundai SUVs that hit the road 10 years ago, about 90% of them are still going strong.

Safety

So much goes into

your Hyundai before

you do.

There’s nothing more important to us than getting you to the places you want to go safe and sound, whether it’s around town, across the country, or into a future facing climate change. Advancing safety technology and materials never ends. Our goal is to make our vehicles the safest they can be for you, your passengers and the world around you.

Hyundai SmartSense

Safety shouldn’t have to be a luxury. That’s why we created SmartSense, our available network of advanced safety and convenience tech.

More reasons to love Hyundai

Hyundai in America.

Staying by our driver’s side.

Building for tomorrow.
