With an expansive network of DC fast-charging stations across the country, you can feel confident there’s always power ahead for your plug-in hybrid vehicle.

The benefits of owning a plug-in hybrid may include state tax credits plus state incentives, driving solo in carpool lanes where available. When driving in all-electric mode, you save money on gas by using only electric power for short distances. And you also get instant acceleration from the electric motor. In hybrid mode, you get great efficiency and performance thanks to the combined gas and electric power.

The same maintenance for a traditional combustion engine model applies for plug-in hybrid powertrains, with additional EV specific checkups when going in for your routine service appointment. Follow your intervals as listed in the supplied owner's handbook. If you are considering going PHEV and want to learn more about this topic, please connect with a Hyundai Dealer for details.

With a Level 2 240V charger get a full charge as fast as under 2 hours for TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid.

In all-electric mode, the plug-in hybrid uses only the electric motor, which is powered by the battery. When driven as a hybrid, the motor and gas engine work together–with the engine providing most of the power at higher speeds and acceleration or when the battery is mostly depleted.
